Warranty Information

Brown Equipment Co. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) acts as a distributor for premium concrete plants, silos, and material handling equipment. Warranty coverage is provided by the original equipment manufacturers (OEM). The following outlines the standard warranty terms for equipment purchased through our company.

1. Belgrade Steel Tank Equipment

For products manufactured by Belgrade Steel Tank (comprising the majority of our inventory), the manufacturer warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship in accordance with industry practices for a period of six (6) months after delivery to the first user. Defective parts shall be replaced or repaired at the discretion of Belgrade Steel Tank at no cost to the user.

2. Third-Party Manufacturer Equipment

For equipment, component parts, or accessories not manufactured by Belgrade Steel Tank, the original manufacturer’s warranty shall apply. These warranties vary by manufacturer and may extend up to one (1) year from the date of delivery. Brown Equipment Co. will assist in facilitating warranty claims with these third-party manufacturers, but liability and final discretion rest solely with the OEM.

3. Exclusions and Limitations

Warranty coverage under any manufacturer does not apply to:

  • Equipment subjected to misuse, negligence, accident, or unauthorized alterations.
  • Lost or stolen parts.
  • Routine wear and tear components.
  • Component parts or accessories attached to the equipment but manufactured by a different entity (these carry their own respective OEM warranties).

4. Limitation of Liability

These express warranties are in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. The obligation and liability of the manufacturer and Brown Equipment Co. under these warranties shall not include the cost of installation, field labor, or any liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or delays resulting from the defect.

5. Governing Law

Any disputes arising regarding warranty claims, equipment purchases, or these terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

6. How to Submit a Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please have your invoice number, equipment serial number, and photos of the defect ready, and contact us at:
